UAE laws: Up to 5 years in jail for impersonating a police officer

The UAE Public Prosecution cautioned that the individuals who mimic a public calling can look as long as five years in a prison.

Refering to Article 299 from the UAE’s new Penal Code, the power said a similar punishment applies to whoever meddles in a public calling or administration or performs business related to the obligations of a community worker for “an ill-conceived end” or advantage.

Guilty parties can confront a prison term from one to five years for mimicking security or police staff.

The post is essential for the Public Prosecution’s web-based mission to raise public consciousness of the new legitimate corrections after the UAE as of late declared the biggest authoritative changes in its 50-year history.
